Tally

Terms of Service

1.What Tally is — and is not

Tally (tally.markets) is subscription software: a trading journal and discipline tool. It lets you record investment theses, pre-register exit criteria, log trades you execute at your own brokers or venues, and receive calendar and data alerts.

Tally is not a broker, dealer, exchange, investment adviser, or money transmitter. We do not execute trades, hold or transfer customer funds, or provide investment advice or recommendations. Nothing in the product — including scores, watchers, alerts, templates, or example theses — is a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Trading involves substantial risk of loss. Decisions and their outcomes are yours alone.

2.Accounts

You need an account to use the product. Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction. Venue connections (such as Derive) use read-only credentials you supply; you confirm you are eligible to use any venue you connect under the laws that apply to you.

3.Billing, cancellation, and refunds

Paid plans are billed monthly, in advance, through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.

All payments are final: we do not offer refunds or credits for partial months, unused time, or downgrades, except where a refund is required by applicable law. Where you have a statutory withdrawal right (for example, under EU or UK consumer rules for digital services), you consent to the service beginning immediately upon purchase and acknowledge that this may end that withdrawal right once the service has been supplied.

Prices and plan limits may change; changes apply from your next billing period after notice, never retroactively.

4.Referral program

Members receive a personal referral code. When someone signs up through your link and pays for a subscription, you accrue a commission of 40% of the subscription payments we actually receive from them, for as long as they remain a paying subscriber and the program continues.

Commissions are settled in arrears, no earlier than 30 days after they accrue, to allow for the payment-dispute window. If a referred payment is refunded, disputed, or charged back, the matching commission is reversed. Self-referrals, fraudulent signups, and abuse void the related commissions. We may change or end the program prospectively; commissions already accrued on payments already received are honored.

5.Acceptable use

Don't abuse the service: no unauthorized access, scraping at scale, reselling access, interfering with other users' data, or using Tally for unlawful activity. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do, with accrued-but-unpaid referral commissions from abuse forfeited.

6.Data and third parties

The product relies on third-party services (hosting, authentication, payments, market data, email). Market data and derived scores may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong; alerts may fail to send. Do not rely on Tally as your only record or warning system for positions that matter to you. Public receipt pages you choose to share are, by design, public.

7.Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claims arising from the service is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, or indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8.Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date, and continued use after that is acceptance. Questions: support@tally.markets.
