Every thesis starts in a 24-hour cooling-off. Ideas born in adrenaline have to survive one night's sleep before they can be armed — that delay is the product, not a bug. When it lapses, arming freezes your criteria so future-you can fire them but never rewrite them.

An observable true/false test with a source and a cadence — "the central bank signals a hold at its next meeting, per the statement or presser, checked each meeting." If you can't say where you'd look and how often, it isn't checkable, and a criterion you can't check won't save you. Two of these plus one dissemination criterion are required before a thesis can be saved.

The Narrative Saturation Index: how loudly the market is already talking about your idea, computed hourly from news volume and options-market pricing. You want to enter while it's quiet (below the entry gate) and treat a scream as a take-profit signal, not a reason to add.

Auto-import only runs for a venue connected from your dashboard — it deliberately never guesses which user or thesis an unattributed position belongs to. Either connect the venue and wait for the next hourly cycle, or log the position and its opening fill manually on the thesis page; the sync recognises the instrument afterward and won't double-import it.

A read-only session key. It is encrypted before storage and used only to read your positions — Tally cannot place, modify, or cancel orders with it. Revoke it at the venue, or disconnect from your dashboard, any time.

Pending is normal until the next hourly worker cycle validates it. If it flips to error, the key is usually expired, revoked at the venue, or pasted with a character missing — re-register a read-only key and reconnect.

Check that alerts are enabled and the address is right on your dashboard, then check Spam/Junk and mark us Not Junk — the first message to a new address is the one most likely to be filtered. Alerts are one digest per hourly cycle, and only when something actually needs you; quiet markets mean a quiet inbox.

Only the process record: title, statement, pre-registration date, criteria counts, status, and — once the thesis is closed — the return as a multiple of your risk budget. Never dollar amounts, position sizes, wallet addresses, or venue details. Receipts are public only for theses you choose to share.

Share your link; anyone who signs up through it and subscribes earns you 40% of what they pay, for as long as they keep paying. Commissions accrue automatically per invoice and are settled in arrears (no sooner than 30 days, after the dispute window). Your dashboard shows what's owed and what's been paid.

Plans cap how many theses can be active at once (cooling-off, armed, or live). Closing or abandoning one frees a slot immediately, and closed theses, history, and receipt sharing are never limited — only starting something new pauses at the cap.

Cancel any time; access continues to the end of the period you've paid for. Payments are final — we don't refund partial months, except where the law requires it (see the terms). If something went genuinely wrong, email us rather than disputing with your bank; we'd rather fix it.
