Yes. The Journal tab is the main workspace. Theses for trades you make yourself, with a statement, exit rules frozen at creation, an optional 24-hour cooling-off, and a public receipt per closed trade. Their tools work from Claude, ChatGPT, and Claude Code through the same connector. The agent needs none of it.

Only the process record, meaning title, statement, pre-registration date, criteria counts, status, and, once closed, the return as a multiple of your risk budget. Never dollar amounts, position sizes, wallet addresses, or venue details. Receipts are public only for theses you choose to share.

Running means the agent manages the account, with a tick every hour and a scan once a day after the close. Paused for the day means equity fell 2% from the day's opening value, so no new positions open until the next daily scan; open positions keep their stops. Stopping and Stopped follow your Stop button. Halted means the agent closed everything and stopped for good on this account, and the line under it says why. Needs attention means something stopped setup or a tick, and the sentence under it says what.

Setup takes a minute or two. Tally's service reads your authorization within a minute, inspects the account, verifies the markets, records the approval and runs the first tick. Refresh the status screen. If it says Needs attention, the sentence under it is the reason; the common ones are an account that is not the free trial, open positions or orders on the account, and Propr not having published today's daily metrics yet, which Tally retries by itself every few minutes.

A halt means the engine closed every position and stopped for good on this account. It does that at 4.5% below the starting balance, inside Propr's 6% limit, when a protective stop could not be confirmed at Propr, or when its own setup record no longer matches the account. The reason is on the status screen, and the daily report has every order. Propr itself closes an account for good the moment a limit is touched, so check the account at Propr too. If the account is still open and flat, Start again records a fresh approval; otherwise remove it.

Press Stop on the status screen. Tally attempts to close positions and cancel orders; wait for confirmed shutdown before removing the account or key. Stop remains available when your subscription ends or the agent reports an error. If the screen is stale or shutdown is not confirmed, open Propr directly, cancel orders and close positions. Revoking a key prevents further access but does not close positions.

Nobody can promise that, and Tally does not. The strategy is a daily breakout, which loses small on most days and makes its money on a few trends. A quiet market can drain an account slowly, and a gap can jump a stop. What you can hold Tally to is narrower, that it runs the written rules every day, rests a stop on every position, halts before Propr's limits, shows you every order, and stops when you ask.

An attempt is one challenge account the agent runs, on the Record tab. At step 04 you write three rules of your own before the first order, a flag after so many straight losing closes, a flag if the average result is below zero after so many closed positions, and an optional time limit; the defaults work if you change nothing. A rule that fires never stops the agent. It flags you on the status screen and in the checkup, and you decide: press Stop, or keep it running and say why. Starting again after a halt asks why too. Every answer goes on the attempt's timeline, with what the agent did, how close the account came to each Propr limit, and how the attempt ended. Each attempt has a share card, off until you turn it on, with the day, the trades, the P&L and your Tally referral link on it.

The engine writes it after every tick. It has the account and risk numbers, every open position with its stop, every order with its status and fill, the day's realised P&L, and the signals and decisions of the day with their reasons, verbatim. It is on the status screen under Report, and Tally keeps one per day for as long as the account exists.

Your API key, encrypted at rest with a key held outside the database, and the account documents the engine reads through it, which are balances, positions, orders, trades and daily metrics. With the key, Tally's agent service places and cancels orders on the one account you authorized by name, and nothing else. It cannot buy a challenge, move funds, or request a payout.

A rejected key is one Propr no longer honours, usually because it was regenerated in Propr's settings. Remove it from the status screen and paste the current one. An account that is not listed means the key sees no challenge attempt yet; start the free trial in Propr, then refresh. Tally never buys a challenge for you.

A paid challenge with a static drawdown, yes, Classic, Turbo or Pro at any size. Choose it at step 03 and the consent at step 04 shows the engine's limits for that product and names the fee at risk. Every market you chose runs on it. The 2-Step products use a trailing drawdown, which the engine does not support yet, so they stay greyed out. One account per Tally account for now; more accounts are on the list.

Yes, and it is disclosed. If you create your Propr account through Tally's link, Propr may pay Tally when you later buy a challenge, at no extra cost to you. It changes nothing about the strategy, the sizing, or your fees.

When the agent halts, when a stop you asked for has completed flat, and when something needs you before it can run again. Alerts go to your account email unless you set a different one under Settings → Alerts. Check that address, then Spam or Junk, and mark the first one Not Junk. A quiet account means a quiet inbox; the daily report is on the status screen, not in your mail.

Yes, if it runs inside Claude, ChatGPT, or Claude Code with the Tally connector. The checkup leads with the agent, whether it is running, equity, the distance to each limit, the open positions, anything that halted or needs you, and the attempt, with your own rules and whether one fired. Nothing in the connector can place an order or stop the agent; both happen on the status screen. Setup is on the connect page.

Sentinel is $9 a month or $49 a year. It removes journal creation caps and covers supported monitoring across the active journal. Free includes 3 active theses and 10 total created, including drafts. Existing history and reviews remain available.

Cancel any time from Settings; access continues to the end of the period you have paid for, and stop the agent before it ends. Payments are final. We do not refund partial months or years, except where the law requires it (see the terms). If something went genuinely wrong, email us rather than disputing with your bank; we would rather fix it.

Yes to both. Email us from your account address and see the privacy policy for what deletion covers. Removing the Propr account from Settings deletes the key at once.
